Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Just Fight!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Chad Campbell and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fight tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Workman was well out of range. Poor timing from Fight.

Fight gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Fight manages to pull guard.
Fight is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fight looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Workman stands up from Fight's guard - Workman perhaps looking for a knockout.

Fight closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fight successfully pulls guard.
Workman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Fight on the ground.
Fight managing to control the position.

Fight preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fight is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Workman lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Workman won't allow Fight to sweep him here.
Workman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fight has a closed guard, preventing Workman from standing up.
Fight is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Fight gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Fight blocks an elbow strike.

Fight pulls guard effortlessly.
Fight has momentary wrist control but Workman slips an elbow through the middle.

Fight looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Workman has picked Fight up and slammed him! Fight can't keep hold of the triangle and Workman manages to pass to side control!
Workman in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Workman decides to take the fight back to the feet.

A head kick misses from Fight.
No joy there for Fight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Workman appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

Fight clinches.
Fight wants to get back to striking at distance but Workman won't allow it.

Fight has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Workman uses from the top position.
Workman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Workman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Fight has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Workman has managed to get both his arms back between Fight's legs - danger averted.
Workman has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Fight is proving hard to escape from.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Workman is working Fight over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fight working a defensive guard but Workman manages to pass into side control anyway.
Fight avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Workman.

Workman decides to stand back up. Workman steps back and let's Fight get back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Workman forces Fight back against the cage and clinches.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Just Fight dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



The fight moves into the clinch position.

Fight has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Workman is trying to keep an underhook but Fight manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Workman is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Fight has latched onto it... Big trouble! Fight pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Workman is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Just Fight!
