Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Hood (ranked 24322 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wojciech Kurminowski (ranked 5985 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood takes the fight into the clinch.
Hood fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Kurminowski closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hood's guard.

Kurminowski escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hood gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Hood connects with a leg kick. Kurminowski looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kurminowski! Hood is out on his feet! Kurminowski rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Hood is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Hood is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
