Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chrys Kyle (ranked 742 p4p, 86 weight class) and Jerome Alviso (ranked 2933 p4p, 333 weight class). Alviso has chosen Pooh Man-Oakland as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerome Alviso!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kyle darts in and clinches Alviso up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Kyle.
Alviso jumps guard but Kyle turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Kyle lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Alviso tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kyle just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kyle is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Kyle is leaning against Alviso and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Kyle lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kyle tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Alviso has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Kyle scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kyle throws a head punch that misses.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Alviso blocks an uppercut.
Kyle misses with some punches.
Kyle stalling in the clinch but Alviso improves position.

Alviso is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kyle to keep the fight standing.
Chrys Kyle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jerome Alviso.
Kyle lands a hook that snaps the head of Alviso backwards.

Kyle is pressed up against the cage. Alviso has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kyle down to the mat. Kyle avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Alviso blocks a head kick by Kyle.
Alviso throws out a counter right but Kyle avoids it with no problem.
Kyle moves into the clinch.
Kyle pushes Alviso back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kyle lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Alviso manages to pull guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kyle stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Kyle stalks Alviso and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Alviso's face. Alviso staggers backwards, shaken.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kyle chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kyle rushes Alviso and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Alviso tries to pull guard but Kyle holds him up against the cage and eventually Alviso drops back down to his feet.
Alviso jumps guard but Kyle stands there with Alviso around his waist. Alviso gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Alviso tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Alviso fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kyle throws a punch but it's blocked by Alviso.
Alviso jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kyle walks away with a smile on his face. Alviso gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Kyle takes the fight into the clinch.
Alviso tries to pull guard but Kyle holds him up against the cage and eventually Alviso drops back down to his feet.

Kyle tries to work over Alviso's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Alviso gets control of Kyle's arms and successfully pulls guard. Alviso will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Kyle gets to his feet - Alviso follows without any prompting.
Kyle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Alviso tries to keep at a distance but Kyle has taken the fight into the clinch.
Alviso tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kyle throws a punch but it's blocked by Alviso.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kyle wants to stand but Alviso is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kyle decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kyle looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kyle moves in looking to clinch but Alviso pushes him off.
Kyle fails in his attempt to clinch.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Alviso! But no joy.
Kyle closes the distance and clinches.
Alviso blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Alviso jumps guard but Kyle stands there with Alviso around his waist. Alviso gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Alviso takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Alviso tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kyle manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Kyle closes the distance and clinches.
Kyle lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Alviso tries to pull guard but Kyle forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Alviso wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kyle has him pressed against the cage.

Kyle wanted to stand there but Alviso had control of the position.
Kyle decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Alviso, up you get!
Kyle keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kyle tries to clinch but Alviso moves out of range.
Alviso swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Alviso dodges the punch combination from Kyle.
Kyle takes a kick to the side of the head.
Kyle is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Alviso can do to turn this around?

Kyle doesn't manage to clinch there - Alviso circles away.
Alviso now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kyle moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Alviso goes down! Can Kyle finish him!?
Alviso is rocked!

Alviso is working an open guard so Kyle takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Kyle clinches up against the cage.
Kyle misses with a hook from the clinch.

Kyle throws a punch but it's blocked by Alviso.
Kyle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kyle drops Alviso with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Alviso! Kyle dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

A victorious Chrys Kyle thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
In defeat, Jerome Alviso stepped up to the mic, saying 'My dad and brother are going to kick my ass again when I get home...'.
