Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Vanatta (ranked 7045 p4p, 394 weight class) and Bruce White Jr (ranked 2294 p4p, 204 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bruce White Jr enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vanatta has taken the fight to the clinch.
White Jr scores with a hook to the body.
White Jr tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Vanatta is trying to control the position but White Jr postures up.

White Jr is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

White Jr remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

You can see the frustration on Vanatta's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Vanatta takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
