We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hobo wants to get back to his feet but Seppala is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Hobo is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Seppala presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Seppala with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hobo to score with a decent uppercut.
Hobo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

enabling Hobo to counter with a crisp jab.
Hobo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Seppala circles away quickly and effectively.
Hobo connects with a nice looking jab.
Hobo has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Seppala will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Hobo lands with an uppercut that bounces Seppala off the cage and back into range.
Seppala closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hobo circles away.
Hobo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hobo wants it to stay on the feet.
Hobo scores with a sloppy right hand. Seppala should have avoided that one.
Oh Seppala is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Psycho Hobo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Seppala prevents Hobo from getting back to his feet.
Seppala is working Hobo over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hobo is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Seppala is controlling him.

Hobo drops Seppala with a beautiful combination! Seppala stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hobo is looking for the KO!
Hobo lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Seppala can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Hobo and Seppala drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Hobo.
