The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chudov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Chudov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Miller keeps working.
Miller is looking for a sweep. Chudov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chudov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Miller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chudov on the ground.

Miller is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chudov is just riding it out for now. Miller eventually gives up the hold.

Miller is looking for a kimura but Chudov is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Miller to get the leverage.
