Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Guerrero (ranked 3016 p4p, 335 weight class) and Jomar Galang (ranked 3436 p4p, 387 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Guerrero might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My Time Is Now. Galang has chosen No Other Name as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Galang.
Guerrero throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Galang clobbers Guerrero with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Galang waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Guerrero.
Galang looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Guerrero shoots in but Galang avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Guerrero throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Guerrero. Galang does a little dance to reset his feet.
Galang looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Galang throws out a loose jab but Guerrero uses good head movement to avoid it.

Guerrero throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Galang was covering up waiting for the punch and Guerrero finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Galang can do anything to dispel that myth.

Galang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Guerrero doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Guerrero manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Guerrero arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Galang's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!

A very excited looking Eddie Guerrero made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
Jomar Galang spoke after the fight, saying 'I dunno sounds like a lot of effort to me. I think I'd prefer red dead 2 and pornhub'.
