Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Banchamek Buakaw (ranked 3151 p4p, 354 weight class) and Bkekimpilo Sotobe (ranked 4292 p4p, 425 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sotobe slips under a jab from Buakaw.
Sotobe flicks out a counter leg kick but Buakaw steps away.
Buakaw avoids the head kick by Sotobe.
A decent looking cross lands there for Buakaw.

Buakaw darts in and clinches Sotobe up against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Sotobe.
Buakaw misses with a punch on the inside.
Buakaw lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Sotobe.
Sotobe's coach down at Yaw-Yan Ardigma was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Sotobe's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Sotobe blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Buakaw misses with a body punch.
Sotobe fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Buakaw tries to throw a body punch but Sotobe avoids it by throwing Buakaw back against the cage.

Buakaw tries to work over Sotobe's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Sotobe's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Oooooh!!! Sotobe has knocked Buakaw down with a huge combo! Sotobe steps away and waves a wobbly Buakaw back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Banchamek Buakaw has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sotobe throws a powerful right kick. Buakaw tried to block low but the kick was high! Buakaw was taken right off of his feet! Sotobe jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
