Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sparring Fighter 1 (ranked 4094 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coke Montana (ranked 3256 p4p, 426 weight class). Fighter 1 comes to the cage accompanied by Lou Reed - The day John Kennedy Died. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Coke Montana!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montana closes the distance and clinches.
Montana looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Montana wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Fighter 1 lands a hook to the side of the head.
With the fighters up against the cage, Fighter 1 throws an elbow but misses.
Fighter 1 lands an elbow just above Montana 's eye.
It looks like Coke Montana has been cut.
Fighter 1 swings wildly with an uppercut but Montana uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fighter 1 manages to break the clinch.
Fighter 1 misses with a hook.
Fighter 1 throws a head kick but Montana moves out of range.
Montana slips under a jab from Fighter 1.
Fighter 1 tries a head kick but it misses.
A head kick misses from Fighter 1.
Fighter 1 with a nice cross.
Fighter 1 pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fighter 1 tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Sparring Fighter 1 seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montana feints and as Fighter 1 raises his hands in defense, Montana changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Fighter 1 has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Montana is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fighter 1 breaks from the clinch.
Montana avoids the head kick by Fighter 1.
Fighter 1 connects with a high kick.
Montana throws a combination. Fighter 1 tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Montana tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Montana shoots in for a takedown but Fighter 1 shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Fighter 1 misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fighter 1 tries a head kick but it misses.
Fighter 1 throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Montana stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Fighter 1 follows into mount!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fighter 1 stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.

A telegraphed right hand from Fighter 1 misses the target.
Fighter 1 slips a jab and a cross from Montana.
A head kick misses from Fighter 1.
Montana fails to land with a series of punches.
Fighter 1 throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Montana.
Montana is rocked!
Fighter 1 tries a head kick but it misses.
Montana is still on wobbly legs! Can Fighter 1 finish him?
A jab from Fighter 1 does it's job there.
Fighter 1 connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Montana walks straight into a right hand from Fighter 1 - that's dropped him! Fighter 1 jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Montana from any more punishment! Montana complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sparring Fighter 1!
