Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tony Bunker (ranked 852 p4p, 104 weight class) and Braylin Timmon (ranked 2759 p4p, 310 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 12 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tony Bunker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Braylin Timmon!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Lou da Vinci and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunker misses with a hook to the body
and Bunker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Timmon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Timmon there as he acknowledges the shot.

Timmon drives through and clinches with Bunker against the cage.
Bunker tries a body shot but Timmon blocks it.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Timmon.
Timmon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Bunker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Bunker seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Bunker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Bunker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bunker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bunker wants to pass the guard but Timmon is keeping the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bunker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Timmon swings for the body but Bunker moves out of range.
Timmon misses with a double jab.

Bunker uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Timmon has time to react.
Bunker lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bunker ducks under a wild hook from Timmon.
Timmon fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Bunker throws an overhand right that lands on Timmon's shoulder, as Timmon tries to avoid the shot.
Timmon bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Bunker fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Timmon.
Timmon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Bunker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Timmon can do to turn this around?

Timmon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bunker swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bunker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

It seemed like Timmon was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Timmon checks a leg kick.

Tony Bunker is winning the standup battle so far.
Timmon tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bunker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Bunker was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Bunker throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Bunker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Bunker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Timmon with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Bunker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Braylin Timmon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tony Bunker is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Well, if Bunker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bunker's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bunker is keen to just control but Timmon is a slippery customer.

Well Bunker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
