The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Demmick tries to sprawl but Mendew drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Mendew working over Demmick with some ground and pound. Demmick looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mendew lands a nice short elbow.
Demmick is rocked!
Mendew takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Oh Demmick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mendew lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Demmick! More strikes land and this one is all over! Mendew jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
