The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobo throws a low kick, looking for Puller's leg but Puller calmly moves out of range.
Puller throws a half hearted mid kick.
Lobo tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Puller is able to avoid easily.
Puller missing with a left hand there. Lobo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Puller misses with an uppercut. Lobo saw that one coming.
Puller walks into a jab.
Puller misses with a wild body shot.
Lobo avoids the body shot from Puller.
Lobo throws a leg kick but Puller sees it coming and checks it nicely.
John Puller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
An inside leg kick from Lobo misses.
It looked like Puller wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
The crowd cheers as Puller lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lobo doesn't seem phased though.
Lobo throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Puller takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Puller moves out of range as Lobo throws a body kick.

and Puller counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Puller lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Lobo moves in looking to clinch but Puller pushes him off.

Puller tries to keep at a distance but Lobo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Puller goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Puller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Puller throws a leg kick but Lobo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Lobo slips under a jab from Puller.
Puller checks a low kick from Lobo.
Lobo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lobo throws a push kick but Puller slaps the foot to one side.
Puller scores with the left hand. Lobo knows he should have avoided that one.
Puller definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Puller misses with a straight left.
Puller misses with a wild body shot.
Puller dips to his left and cracks Lobo with an uppercut!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Puller fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Lobo has taken the fight to the clinch.
Nice body punch from Puller - that landed with a thud.
Puller goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Lobo lands a left hand.
Lobo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Puller lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lobo.
Lobo pushes Puller back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Lobo blocks an uppercut.
Puller misses with some punches.

Lobo decides to pull guard.

Lobo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Puller can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lobo looking for a triangle here. Puller is fighting it but it looks tight! Lobo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Puller is tapping out - this one is all over!
