The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Brown's guard.
Brown wants to stand up but Baker is controlling him.
Baker might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Baker connects with a couple of short punches.

Baker thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Baker is proving a slippery customer.

Baker is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Brown is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Brown has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Baker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Brown sprawls well initially but Baker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Brown manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Baker keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Baker escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Brown shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Baker manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Baker is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Baker is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Baker eventually gives up the hold.
