The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Shinker.
Shinker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Shinker has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Drunkizkus is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Shinker throws a left and a right that both miss
and Drunkizkus counters with a nice uppercut.
Drunkizkus has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Drunkizkus ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Drunkizkus takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Shinker takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Shinker throws a right and a left that both miss.
Shinker wants to land a leg kick but Drunkizkus is out of range.
Shinker misses with a series of wild punches.

Drunkizkus tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shinker was well out of range. Poor timing from Drunkizkus.
Glady Shinker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Drunkizkus avoids the head kick by Shinker.
Drunkizkus throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Shinker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
