Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Johnson Greer (ranked 5285 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Halstead (ranked 6649 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greer feints and then cracks Halstead's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Halstead down.
Halstead shoots in looking for a takedown but Greer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Halstead's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Greer is looking to counter with head kicks.
Greer lands a lovely overhand right.

Halstead's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Greer connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Halstead scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
