Coming up we have a light heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Viktor Grishin (ranked 3624 p4p, 457 weight class) and Jodi Joe Fjera (ranked 1950 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Grishin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Danger. Fjera is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tito & Tarantula . And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 4 losses; Jodi Joe Fjera!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Paul Tew and Donald Grub.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Grishin moves into the clinch.

Fjera drags the fight down to the ground.
Fjera keeping moving, preventing Grishin from controlling successfully.
Grishin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fjera is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Grishin won't allow Fjera to sweep him here.
Fjera not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Fjera wants to sweep here but Grishin controlling him for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fjera keeping moving, preventing Grishin from controlling successfully.
Fjera lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Fjera tries to free his leg and advance position but Grishin is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grishin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Fjera trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Fjera looking to improve position, pressing down on Grishin's thigh with his hand. Grishin seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Fjera paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Fjera's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Grishin picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
