The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Emelianenko moves into the clinch.
Ribeiro jumps guard but Emelianenko turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Ribeiro tries to pull guard but Emelianenko won't allow it.

Ribeiro is fighting off a takedown attempt but Emelianenko is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ribeiro to the mat. Ribeiro regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Emelianenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ribeiro has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Emelianenko has managed to get both his arms back between Ribeiro's legs - danger averted.
