Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Samuel Westcliff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nivaldo Farias!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Farias clinches up against the cage.
Westcliff tries to break the clinch but Farias is controlling the position.
Westcliff misses with a knee strike.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Farias.
Farias has Westcliff pressed against the cage.
Westcliff misses with some punches.
Westcliff is trying to stall.
Westcliff looking to throw knees to the head but Farias is blocking nicely.
Westcliff working aggressively here.

Farias pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Farias shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Westcliff as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Westcliff tries to score with a low kick but Farias moves his leg out of the way.
Farias takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Westcliff connects with a nice looking jab.
Westcliff tries to land a front kick but Farias steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Farias drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Westcliff defends it well.

Farias closes the distance and clinches.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Farias.

Farias breaks the clinch.
Farias throws a lazy right hand but Westcliff sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Westcliff lands with a cross.
Westcliff defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Farias.
Farias tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
As Farias looks to move away, Westcliff throws a big counter combo but Farias just gets out of the way.
Westcliff throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Farias fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Westcliff, pushing him back against the cage.
Farias changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Westcliff fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Samuel Westcliff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nivaldo Farias.
Farias has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Farias there as he acknowledges the shot.
Westcliff goes for a small jab and connects. Now Westcliff goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Farias stumbles back but Westcliff runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Farias to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Farias will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
