Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Stark (ranked 4949 p4p, 473 weight class) and Angelo Moore (ranked 3862 p4p, 403 weight class). Angelo Moore is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Angelo Moore!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Moore makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Stark fails in his attempt to clinch.
Moore has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Stark is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Stark tries for a takedown but Moore sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Moore smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Stark tries a low kick but Moore avoids it.
Stark moves out of range of the body kick.
A quick step to the side and Stark tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Moore is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Stark.

It looks like Angelo Moore has been cut.
Stark will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Moore connects with a right hand. Stark shakes it off.
Stark tries to clinch up.
Stark tries to close the distance and clinch but Moore swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stark shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moore as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Stark. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Stark throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Stark shoots in for a takedown but Moore shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Moore feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stark's calf.
Stark has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Moore.
Stark is breathing heavily.

and Moore counters with an inside leg kick.

Stark chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Moore can pounce on him.
Stark has been working on his balance at Power Wrestling Academy , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Moore.
Moore thuds his shin into the meat of Stark's side.
Moore is looking to slow Stark down with leg kicks.

Moore feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Stark's calf.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moore connects with a body shot.
Stark takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Stark wants to clinch
and Moore counters with a body kick.
Stark drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Moore throws a nice outside leg kick.
Stark takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Moore lands a leg kick that knocks Stark off balance momentarily.

Stark tries to clinch but Moore is having none of it.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Stark is defended easily by Moore.

Moore throws a nice inside leg kick.
Moore with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Moore feints and then cracks Stark's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stark down.
Angelo Moore is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Moore fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Stark is looking to clinch.
Moore connects with a solid leg kick.
Moore throws a quick inside leg kick.
Stark fails with a takedown attempt.

A combination from Stark does no damage.
Moore buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stark shoots in for a takedown but Moore shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Moore scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Stark takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Stark misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Stark's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.

Stark closes the distance but Moore moves to the side
and Moore counters with a nice body kick.

Stark is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Stark looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moore is fending him off so far but Stark persists. Nope, Moore circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moore throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Moore cracks the inside of Stark's front leg.
The fighters circle momentarily. Moore darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

It looks like Jon Stark has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stark takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Stark is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Stark. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Stark takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Oh Stark is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Moore drops Stark with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Stark! Moore dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

A relieved looking Angelo Moore thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
