Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kim Edgar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reynold March!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edgar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with March, pushing him back against the cage.

Edgar wants the takedown. March is fighting it off but Edgar persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in March's guard against the cage.
Edgar is looking to stand up but March won't let him.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
March looking to hit a scissor sweep but Edgar is one step ahead there.
March is still trying to improve position.
Edgar not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Edgar is looking to stand up but March won't let him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Edgar chips away with some ground and pound.
Edgar engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
March working a defensive guard here.

Edgar lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Edgar stays in close to March's body and controls the position.
Edgar seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down March for as long as he can get away with.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Edgar throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. March tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Edgar is in March's guard.
March is looking to stand up but Edgar isn't so interested in that idea.
Edgar wants to control from the top but March keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
March preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Edgar looking to improve position, pressing down on March's thigh with his hand. March seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Edgar paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Edgar's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! March picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
