Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Somrak Khamsing (ranked 1756 p4p, 214 weight class) and Chris Buchanan (ranked 2348 p4p, 275 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khamsing jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Khamsing has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Buchanan connects with a nice short shot to Khamsing's temple.

Buchanan lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Khamsing! More strikes land and this one is all over! Buchanan jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Chris Buchanan was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Somrak Khamsing was interviewed post fight and said 'You are just lucky today!'.
