Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Scott Lee (ranked 2405 p4p, 305 weight class) and Ben Cox (ranked 5462 p4p, 524 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by Sweet Caroline. Scott Lee has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee connects with a high kick.

Lee throws a body punch but Cox moves out of range.
Lee ducks under a wild hook from Cox.
Lee sizes up Cox with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Cox takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Scott Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Cox does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lee displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cox throws out the jab.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
