Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aarni Immonen (ranked 3974 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wee Weighty (ranked 5305 p4p, 0 weight class). Wee Weighty will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Immonen thows a left - swing and a miss!
Weighty drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Immonen defends it well.
Weighty moves out of range as Immonen strikes.
Weighty changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Weighty thows a body kick. Immonen tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Weighty closes the distance but Immonen moves to the side

and Immonen counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Immonen.
Immonen slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Weighty.
Immonen wants to control but Weighty is keeping him busy.

Immonen is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Immonen seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Weighty pushes Immonen off looking to stand but Immonen dives back in and keeps control.

Weighty tries to roll over but Immonen keeps him under control.

Immonen is trying to work for a kimura but Weighty is defending well.
Immonen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Immonen sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Immonen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Weighty is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Weighty flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Immonen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Weighty and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Immonen slips an arm under Weighty chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Immonen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Immonen is squeezing on Weighty like an anaconda would it's prey. Weighty fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
