The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller scores with a hook to the body. Bittencourt takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Bittencourt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Miller was covering up waiting for the punch and Bittencourt finishes the takedown easily into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
