Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nate Dillinger (ranked 5181 p4p, 488 weight class) and Bob Elder (ranked 3874 p4p, 407 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Nate Dillinger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bob Elder!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillinger keeps the fight on the outside.
Dillinger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dillinger moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Dillinger stuffs the takedown.
Dillinger stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dillinger wants it to stay on the feet.
Elder tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dillinger comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Dillinger scores with a one two! Elder had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Elder throws a leg kick but Dillinger checks it.

Elder shoots in looking for a takedown. Dillinger tries to sprawl out of it but Elder keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dillinger manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dillinger attempts a counter takedown but Elder avoids it well and moves away.
Dillinger scores with a sloppy right hand. Elder should have avoided that one.
Elder moves in looking to clinch but Dillinger pushes him off.
Dillinger wants to slow Elder down by chopping away at his legs.
No joy there for Dillinger, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Elder goes for a double leg but Dillinger avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dillinger continues to drive forward.

Elder takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Elder shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dillinger but Dillinger pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dillinger.
Elder misses with a series of wild punches.
Dillinger lunges at Elder with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Elder's hand.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dillinger half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Elder closes the distance and clinches up with Dillinger, looking for a takedown. Elder pushes Dillinger against the cage but Dillinger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Dillinger lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Elder shoots in but no luck this time.

Dillinger stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Elder looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Elder is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dillinger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Dillinger looks to land a combination. Elder sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Elder tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dillinger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Elder is pressed up against the cage. Dillinger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Elder down to the mat. Elder avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dillinger throws a right hand that Elder ducks under and follows up with a left that Elder also avoids with ease.

Dillinger throws a nice looking combination but Elder bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Elder jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Dillinger walks away with a smile on his face. Elder gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dillinger misses with a few strikes there.
Elder tries to close the distance and clinch but Dillinger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Dillinger is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Elder tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dillinger defends well and Elder ends up having to push Dillinger into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Elder darts in looking for a takedown but Dillinger gets double underhooks and turns Elder into the cage.

Elder drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dillinger pulls his leg out and moves away.
Elder takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Elder is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dillinger is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Elder.

Elder is working for takedown but Dillinger is calmly controlling the position for now.

Elder slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
