Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Realidade (ranked 5149 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paulo Sousa Sousa (ranked 7910 p4p, 0 weight class). Sousa has chosen Girls just wanna have fun as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Paulo Sousa Sousa was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Realidade takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Realidade fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sousa manages to avoid it.
Realidade misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sousa.
Realidade waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sousa.
And Sousa tries to counter it with a takedown but Realidade pushes his down on his head and steps out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sousa throws the left hand but Realidade avoids the punch easily.
Sousa is trying hard to land a takedown here. Realidade sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Sousa closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Realidade quickly recovers to half guard.
Realidade tries to kick Sousa off in order to stand up. Sousa Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Sousa wants to control the pace but Realidade is squirming around nicely.
Realidade tries to lock up and control but Sousa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Sousa is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Realidade can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sousa is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Sousa extends the arm and Realidade is forced to tap!
