Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mack Truck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Wick!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wick shoots in looking for a takedown. Truck tries to sprawl out of it but Wick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Truck manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Wick shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Truck as he jumps to the side.
Wick clinches.
A bit of stalling here from Wick.
Truck really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Truck tries to pull guard but Wick won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Truck changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wick fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Wick tries to clinch up but Truck circles away and keeps his distance.

Truck wants to get back to his feet but Wick is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wick wants to clinch up but Truck keeps it at a distance.

Truck jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wick walks away with a smile on his face. Truck gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Wick decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Truck kicks Wick off and gets back to his feet.
Truck closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wick's guard.

Wick is working an open guard so Truck takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Truck is breathing heavily.
Wick closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Truck pulls Wick into guard.
Wick postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Truck is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wick, into his guard.
Truck stands up from Wick's guard - Truck perhaps looking for a knockout.
Wick fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Wick moves in looking to clinch but Truck pushes him off.
Truck circles away from the clinch attempt.
Truck drives through and clinches with Wick against the cage.
Truck lands a knee to the body.
Wick gets control of Truck's arms and successfully pulls guard. Wick will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Truck in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Truck trying to control the position from guard on top but Wick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Wick looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Wick throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wick closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Wick drags the fight down to the ground.
Truck stays in close to Wick's body and controls the position.

Wick has his feet on Truck's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

Truck moves into the clinch successfully.
Truck is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Wick to keep the fight standing.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Truck.
Truck dodges an elbow strike from Wick.
Wick successfully pulls guard.
Wick is breathing heavily.
Truck is stalling in the full guard.
Truck won't allow Wick to get back to his feet.

Wick is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Truck looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Truck will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Truck decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Truck looks to land a combination but Wick avoids it well.
Truck moves into range and clinches up with Wick.
Wick tries to pull guard but Truck forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Truck goes for a takedown attempt but Wick pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The referee asks Truck politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Truck prefers to stall for the moment though.

Truck connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Wick some visible discomfort.

Wick decides to stand back up. Wick steps back and let's Truck get back to his feet.

Wick pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Truck throws a series of punches but Wick avoids them all with ease.
Truck looks for a takedown but Wick sprawls well.
Wick keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Wick takes the fight into the clinch.

Wick is wriggling around but Truck manages to pass to half guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wick actively working from the bottom here.
Truck uses his free foot to push down on Wick's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Wick.
Truck lands a big shot there that rocks Wick but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Truck fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Wick in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Truck wants to control the pace but Wick is squirming around nicely.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mack Truck.
I think Truck has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
