Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Era Winger (ranked 2877 p4p, 127 weight class) and Hakuin Rinzai (ranked 22447 p4p, 216 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rinzai looks for a takedown but Winger sprawls well.
Rinzai takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Winger has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Winger moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Rinzai moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Winger feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Rinzai's calf.
Rinzai drives through with a takedown into guard.
Rinzai wants to control from the top but Winger keeps moving.
Winger pulls Rinzai in close to prevent any damage.
Winger preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Winger is striking but Rinzai is not phased and passes to half guard.
Winger is staying active underneath Rinzai, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rinzai is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Rinzai slows the pace down in half guard.
Winger is looking to control Rinzai's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Winger avoid being mounted?

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Rinzai trying to control the action but Winger is working from the bottom.

Winger throws a series of punches but Rinzai avoids them all with ease.
Winger connects with the punch.
Rinzai closes the distance but Winger moves to the side
and Winger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Winger 's corner calls for a 1-2. Winger obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Rinzai looks to clinch
and Winger counters with a series of strikes. Rinzai will be more careful next time no doubt.

Winger dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Winger buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Winger drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rinzai right on the button. Rinzai goes down! Winger follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Winger gets the win via TKO!

In his post fight interview, Era Winger started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
