The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ragnarson keeps the fight on the outside.
Ragnarson cracks a nice hook into Omaha's ribs.
Ragnarson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Omaha was well out of range. Poor timing from Ragnarson.
Ragnarson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Omaha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ragnarson swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Omaha has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ragnarson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Ragnarson throws a chopping leg kick but Omaha manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Ragnarson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
A telegraphed right hand from Ragnarson misses the target.
Omaha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ragnarson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ragnarson punishes Omaha's body with a nice straight punch.
Ragnarson moves out of range of the strikes.

and Ragnarson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Omaha won't be happy with that.
Omaha is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Ragnarson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Omaha is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Ragnarson advances to mount.

It looks like Chief Omaha has been cut.
Ragnarson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Omaha can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That has opened up Chief Omaha's cut even more.

Chief Omaha's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chief Omaha's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
