Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cody Myres!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Scott Hill!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill throws a predictable looking body shot

and Myres counters by clinching up.

Hill escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Myres keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hill shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Myres uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hill.

Hill gets a takedown into half guard.
Myres is trying to stand up here but Hill is controlling him well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Myres won't allow Hill to pass to mount.
Hill has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Myres wants to try and get back to his feet.

Myres is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Hill fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Hill working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Myres knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hill on the ground.
Hill trying to control but Myres is having none of it.

Myres definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Myres has given up his back here. Will Hill look for the submission or keep pounding away?

Hill is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Myres has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Hill is looking for the choke from the back position but Myres is controlling his hands well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Myres trying to get back to his feet but Hill is in full control for now.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Hill has got one arm under Myres's chin. This could be trouble... Myres trying to control the other hand but Hill gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Myres has tapped out! The fight is over!
