The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rondo lands a body shot.
Rondo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rondo changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Rondo moves into the clinch.
Rondo tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Winkle's elbow.

Winkle is fighting off a takedown attempt but Rondo is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Winkle to the mat. Winkle regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Winkle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rondo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Winkle is tightening it up a little... Rondo has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Rondo reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Rondo taps out! Nice BJJ there by Winkle!
