The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Dawoud cracks Belabed with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Dawoud connects with a single shot there.
Dawoud punishes Belabed's body with a nice straight punch.

Belabed walks into a jab.
Belabed fails with the takedown

and Dawoud counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dawoud.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dawoud tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Dawoud makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Belabed is rocked!
Dawoud unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Belabed! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Dawoud is unloading with more strikes now! Belabed drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
