PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between AC Slater (ranked 1408 p4p, 213 weight class) and Randy Miller (ranked 1055 p4p, 160 weight class). Slater's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Stop What Ya Doin. Miller has chosen Who Was In My Room Last Night by Butthole Surfers as his entrance music. AC Slater could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Randy Miller's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, AC Slater!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Randy Miller!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller tries to score with a low kick but Slater moves his leg out of the way.
Miller has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Slater takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Slater takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Slater is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Miller's half guard.
Slater drops an elbow to the side of Miller's head.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Slater connects with a nice short shot to Miller's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
