Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Ngoss (ranked 3152 p4p, 384 weight class) and Cazacu Bors (ranked 5403 p4p, 529 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Ngoss!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cazacu Bors!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bors feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ngosss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Bors closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bors scores with a hook to the body.
Bors creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Bors tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Bors doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Bors pushes off an throws an elbow but Ngoss leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bors.
Ngoss is trying to pull guard but Bors has him pressed against the cage.
Bors struggles to land a body shot inside as Ngoss controls his hands.
Ngoss tries to pull guard but Bors holds him up against the cage and eventually Ngoss drops back down to his feet.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Ngoss. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bors misses with an elbow strike.
Ngoss has been working on his balance at Temp Spar Gym, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Bors.

Ngoss turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bors is looking to reverse the position.
Bors wants to control but Ngoss postures up.

Ngoss working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Bors manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ngoss's best efforts.

Ngoss looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bors makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bors.
Bors looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bors can do anything to dispel that myth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ngoss looking to pass the guard.

Ngoss drops back looking for a leg! Bors is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bors manages to kick Ngoss off! Ngoss jumps back into Bors's guard.
Ngoss trying to control the position from guard on top but Bors is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ngoss postures up.
Ngoss with a flurry of punches that miss.
Ngoss loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ngoss is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Bors is trying to control the position but Ngoss postures up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ngoss drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ngoss jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Bors pulls Ngoss in close to his closed guard and prevents Ngoss from doing any damage or advancing position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The fighters circling - Bors throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bors cracks Ngoss with a right hand to the side of the head.

Bors takes the fight into the clinch.
Bors throws an elbow but it misses.
Ngoss fails to pull guard.

Bors looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Bors can't find room to land a body shot as Ngoss controls the action.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Ngoss tries to pull guard but Bors won't allow it.
Ngoss is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Bors to keep the fight standing.
Ngoss fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Bors pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Bors works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Ngoss tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Bors just stands there and leans against the cage.
Bors gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.


It looks like David Ngoss has been cut.
Bors comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ngoss is trying to pull guard but Bors has him pressed against the cage.
Ngoss drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ngoss tries to pull guard but Bors won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cazacu Bors dominated that round.
The cut man is working on David Ngoss's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Bors is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Bors tries to clinch up.
Ngoss looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Bors fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ngoss manages to avoid it.
As Bors tries to get set, Ngoss tries to push him back and clinch up but Bors manages to avoid the attempt.
Cazacu Bors seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bors moves into range and clinches up with Ngoss.

Ngoss is looking to take this one to the mat.
Ngoss is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Bors is keeping busy.
Bors lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ngoss backwards.

Bors lands an elbow inside.
Ngoss is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bors gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Bors throws an elbow but it misses.
Bors tries to throw a body punch but Ngoss avoids it by throwing Bors back against the cage.

Ngoss jumps guard and drags Bors to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ngoss keeping moving, preventing Bors from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bors wants to stand but Ngoss is controlling his posture from full guard.

Bors content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ngoss has locked up a guillotine! Ngoss's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Bors is holding on here and Ngoss must be using up a lot of energy. Bors has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ngoss gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). David Ngoss!
