Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Benson (ranked 4576 p4p, 436 weight class) and Ricky Jones (ranked 3474 p4p, 346 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ricky Jones!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Damien Edna and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Benson but Benson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Benson dives in and scores a takedown into Jones's guard.
Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Benson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Benson with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Benson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Our spies down at at Spartans Gym inform us that Jones has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Benson postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jones looking for a guillotine here but Benson defends easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jones is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Benson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jones has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Benson has managed to get both his arms back between Jones's legs - danger averted.
Benson has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Benson works over Jones with some ground and pound from guard.

Jones is looking for a triangle but Benson pushes his legs off easily.
Benson stands up over Jones, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Benson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Jones's head.
Jones is rocked!
Benson stands up over Jones, holding on to his feet. Benson throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Jones is out cold! Benson lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Randall Benson!
Randall Benson opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
