The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ruth instigates a clinch.

Sauce breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Ruth rushes Sauce and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Sauce is looking for a takedown.
Sauce lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Sauce breaks from the clinch.
Ruth throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
It looked like Sauce was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
No joy there for Sauce, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And Ruth tries to counter it with a takedown but Sauce pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Sauce looks to land a combination but Ruth avoids it well.
Sauce looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Ruth feints the counter takedown.
Sauce circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sauce appears to be looking for a big counter.
Ruth misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Ruth looks to move away, Sauce throws a big counter combo but Ruth just gets out of the way.
Sauce gets in close and tags Ruth with a short punch that almost sends Ruth to the mat! Oh Ruth is in big trouble! He turns his back on Sauce, trying to create some distance but Sauce rushes him, striking wildly and Ruth goes down! The referee tackles Sauce into the cage to end the fight! Sauce is one violent man!
