Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baltasar Halko (ranked 5617 p4p, 165 weight class) and Big Bobby (ranked 3655 p4p, 128 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Halko might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Lumberjack by Jackyl. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Kenichi Hosakawa and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We've been informed that Bobby has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Bobby displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Halko.
Halko throws a series of punches but Bobby avoids them all with ease.

It looks like Baltasar Halko has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Halko walks straight into a right hand from Bobby - that's dropped him! Bobby jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Halko from any more punishment! Halko complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
