Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Griffin (ranked 4405 p4p, 142 weight class) and Dick Black (ranked 2684 p4p, 88 weight class). Black has chosen The Dicks - Rich Daddy as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Ryan Griffin has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Ryan Griffin seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yuuki Gou and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black dives in and grabs Griffin's left leg, looking for a takedown. Griffin pushes down on Black's head and hops out.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Black.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Griffin.
Black is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Griffin is controlling him well.
Griffin landing strikes.
Black is trying to improve his position.
Griffin looks up at the clock and then as Black takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Griffin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Black is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Black is looking for a sweep.
Griffin prevents Black from escaping the position.
Griffin misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Griffin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground.

It looks like Dick Black has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Black dodges the ground and pound from Griffin.
Black tries to escape but Griffin is in control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Griffin working the body and head with strikes.
Black is trying to control Griffin's posture but Griffin avoids it.
Griffin in side control, throwing shots but Black defends.

Griffin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Black is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Griffin cracks Black with a big right hand but Black just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That has opened up Dick Black's cut even more.
Griffin tries to move to mount but Black blocks the move with his legs.
Griffin lands some shots froms side control.

Dick Black's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Dick Black's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ryan Griffin!
