The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee fails in his attempt to clinch.
Holloway seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Holloway turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
McGee feints and then cracks Holloway's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Holloway down.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Holloway has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Holloway's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

A momentary lapse in concentration from McGee enables Holloway to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. McGee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
