The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pace displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Do Nascimento throws out the jab.
Pace tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Do Nascimento paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Do Nascimento wants to counter the offense by Pace and move into the clinch position.
Do Nascimento closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Do Nascimento misses with a short punch on the inside.
Pace is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Pace shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Do Nascimento sprawls well. Do Nascimento wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pace gets slowly back to his feet.

Do Nascimento has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Pace doesn't defend quickly enough and Do Nascimento has managed to lock this one up! Can Pace escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Do Nascimento on a fantastic submission victory.
