Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Adams Jr!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nic Parsons!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Parsons moves out of range easily.
Adams Jr throws a right hand that Parsons ducks under and follows up with a left that Parsons also avoids with ease.
Parsons looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Adams Jr is fending him off so far but Parsons persists. Nope, Adams Jr circles away and we're back to standing.
Adams Jr is looking for a counter combo.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Adams Jr enables Parsons to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Adams Jr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Adams Jr really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Parsons decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Parsons closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Adams Jr's guard.
Adams Jr is wriggling around but Parsons manages to pass to half guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Parsons seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Adams Jr has a hand on Parsons's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Parsons takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Parsons is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Adams Jr throws a combination that misses

and Parsons counters by clinching up.
Parsons fails to pull guard.
Adams Jr with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Parsons tries for a takedown but Adams Jr manages to get underhooks.
Jay Adams Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nic Parsons.

Parsons escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Adams Jr throws a nice looking combination but Parsons bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Some bone on bone action there as Adams Jr checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Parsons shoots in for a double leg but Adams Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Adams Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Parsons shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Adams Jr as he avoids it easily.

letting Parsons counter with a right hand.

Adams Jr swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Parsons counters by clinching up.
Parsons blocks an elbow strike from Adams Jr.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adams Jr has had enough of the clinch but Parsons keeps him there for the moment.
Parsons goes for a takedown in the clinch but Adams Jr prevents it.

Parsons has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Adams Jr uses from the top position.

Parsons bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Adams Jr's guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Adams Jr misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Parsons shoots in but no luck this time.

Parsons has Adams Jr up against the cage in a clinch.
Parsons stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Parsons pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Parsons counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Parsons.
Parsons has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Adams Jr after a bit of a struggle.
Parsons is looking to take this one to the mat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nic Parsons dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



The fight moves into the clinch position.
Parsons tries to work over Adams Jr's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Adams Jr misses with a short punch on the inside.
Parsons is trying to drag Adams Jr to the mat but Adams Jr just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Parsons can't break the clinch.
Parsons tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Adams Jr just stands there and leans against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Adams Jr lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Adams Jr tries to circle away but Parsons has him pinned against the cage.
Parsons lands with a left to the head.
Adams Jr is trying to break the clinch but Parsons is controlling him.

Adams Jr scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Parsons dives in and grabs Adams Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Adams Jr pushes down on Parsons's head and hops out.
Jay Adams Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nic Parsons.
Parsons tries to score a power double leg takedown but Adams Jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Parsons somewhat.

Parsons is looking for the big counter here.

Adams Jr lands a left and a right that send Parsons crashing to the mat, dazed. Adams Jr thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Nic Parsons has been cut.

Adams Jr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Parsons seems to have recovered his senses.

Adams Jr throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Parsons holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Adams Jr's face as he tries to break the clinch.

and Parsons counters by clinching up.
Parsons is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
The referee is keeping an eye on Parsons - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Parsons pushes off an throws an elbow but Adams Jr leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Parsons decides to pull guard.
Adams Jr throws an elbow that misses. Parsons uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Adams Jr's guard. Nice move by Parsons!


Parsons decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Adams Jr, up you get!

Adams Jr pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jay Adams Jr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Parsons throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adams Jr was covering up waiting for the punch and Parsons finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Parsons seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Adams Jr knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Parsons on the ground.
Parsons's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jay Adams Jr will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Nic Parsons's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Parsons goes for a takedown attempt but Adams Jr pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Adams Jr tries to land a front kick but Parsons steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Parsons.
Adams Jr's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Adams Jr duly obliges.

Adams Jr throws a strike but Parsons rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


Parsons drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Parsons jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Parsons is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Adams Jr will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Adams Jr takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Adams Jr is looking for a sweep.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nic Parsons comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Parsons has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
