Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paavel Wulf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
38 - 21 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trey Brown!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wulf looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range.
Wulf bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wulf, as that shot connected.
Wulf throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.
Wulf moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Brown avoids the body shot from Wulf.
And Brown tries to counter it with a takedown but Wulf pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Wulf cracks Brown with an open hand slap.
Paavel Wulf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wulf lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Wulf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wulf fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Brown has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Wulf jumps guard and drags Brown to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Brown pushes down on Wulf's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Brown looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Brown seems to be working for a kimura but Wulf defends the submission attempt.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wulf bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Brown's guard.

Brown is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wulf defends well.
Brown has his foot on Wulf's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wulf works his way back into a safe position though.

Brown bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Brown tries for a kimura but Wulf is defending well.
Brown stands up and beckons Wulf to his feet.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but Wulf shows good takedown defense.
A little feinted left hand from Wulf on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Wulf lands a big uppercut and Brown crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brown looks OK. Wulf waves Brown back to his feet!

Brown looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wulf is fending him off so far but Brown persists. Nope, Wulf circles away and we're back to standing.
Brown is still on wobbly legs! Can Wulf finish him?

Wulf slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Wulf postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Brown covers up, he's hurt! Wulf keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Wulf and the ref steps in to end the fight! Wulf can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
