Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Mutou (ranked 1739 p4p, 254 weight class) and Vahan Karamyenyan (ranked 4349 p4p, 499 weight class). Karamyenyan has chosen Bonecrusher - Saw Theme Remix as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutou takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Karamyenyan just misses with a punch to the body.
Mutou swings for the body but Karamyenyan moves out of range.

Karamyenyan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Mutou lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Mutou stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Karamyenyan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Mutou rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Karamyenyan moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Karamyenyan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Mutou defends well and Karamyenyan ends up having to push Mutou into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mutou shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Karamyenyan eats them both and turns towards Mutou to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Mutou is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Mutou gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Mutou gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Mutou apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Karamyenyan clobbers Mutou with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Mutou uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Karamyenyan feints and then cracks Mutou's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Mutou down.
