Gandolf Schmidt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mircea throws a looping overhand right but Schmidt ducks down to avoid it.

As Schmidt tries to get set, Mircea tries to push him back and clinch up but Schmidt manages to avoid the attempt.

and Mircea counters with a crisp right hand that drops Schmidt! Mircea lets Schmidt back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Mircea cracks Schmidt with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Mircea has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Schmidt to stand back up!

and Mircea counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
