RIvera takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
RIvera takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Roncaglia throws a left and a right that both miss

so RIvera counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

RIvera drops back looking for a leg! Roncaglia is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Roncaglia manages to kick RIvera off! RIvera jumps back into Roncaglia's guard.

Roncaglia is trying to control the position but RIvera postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

RIvera is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
RIvera passes Roncaglia's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

RIvera seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Roncaglia does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
