The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like Deviante Russell has been cut.
Russell ducks under a wild hook from Jones.
Russell dodges the punch combination from Jones.
Jones tries a low kick but Russell avoids it.
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Russell doesn't seem phased though.
Russell gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Russell takes one to the chin there.
Jones has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Russell lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jones throws a leg kick
and Russell counters with a nice uppercut.

It looks like Jimbo Jones has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Russell moves away and avoids it.
Jones showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Russell.
Jones misses with a body shot
and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Jones motions for Russell to come forward. Jones throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Russell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Russell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.

Russell lands a big uppercut and Jones crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jones looks OK. Russell waves Jones back to his feet!

Jones is rocked!
Jones tries to get into range but Russell steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Jones! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Russell scores the big KO victory!

Deviante Russell decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
