With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dimitri Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Ben Watson and Darius Henderson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Emelianenko 's head but he takes it in his stride.


It looks like Dimitri Emelianenko has been cut.
Peterson misses with an uppercut. Emelianenko saw that one coming.
Peterson lands with an uppercut that bounces Emelianenko off the cage and back into range.
Emelianenko is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Peterson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Emelianenko counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Peterson!
Peterson is looking for a sweep.
Peterson is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Emelianenko is controlling him well.
Peterson on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Peterson tries to get out of the position.

Peterson knocks out Emelianenko with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Peterson before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Peterson picks up the big W with a huge KO!

Josh Peterson tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
