Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vasylis Tryfon (ranked 3158 p4p, 326 weight class) and Arvo Elukka (ranked 6325 p4p, 492 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arvo Elukka!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elukka shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tryfon defends it nicely.
Tryfon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Elukka's waist but Elukka gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tryfon off to one side.
Elukka has a takedown stuffed.
Tryfon tries to bum rush Elukka with a series of wild strikes but Elukka uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Elukka shoots in for a takedown but Tryfon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Vasylis Tryfon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arvo Elukka.
Elukka throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tryfon tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Elukka is in Tryfon's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Elukka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tryfon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tryfon is trying to control. Elukka wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Tryfon looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Elukka with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tryfon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Tryfon wants to take a breather but Elukka is having none of it.

Tryfon is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Elukka is hurt! He's hurt bad - Tryfon fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Elukka from any more punishment! Congratulations to Tryfon! Great finish!
