PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Arteezy (ranked 2071 p4p, 212 weight class) and Dome Graybeard (ranked 2222 p4p, 227 weight class). Graybeard has chosen Remember The Name as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dome Graybeard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Graybeard.
Graybeard connects with a right hand. Arteezy shakes it off.
Graybeard fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A looping hook to the body misses from Graybeard. Arteezy does a little dance to reset his feet.
Arteezy misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Arteezy takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Graybeard lands with a good body shot.
Arteezy bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Arteezy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Graybeard sprawls well. Graybeard wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Arteezy gets slowly back to his feet.

Arteezy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Arteezy fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Graybeard to the ground. Arteezy is now in Graybeard's guard.

Arteezy slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Arteezy drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Arteezy jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Graybeard is pulling down on Arteezy's head. It's preventing any offense from Arteezy, at least for the moment.
Arteezy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Graybeard has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Arteezy is breathing heavily.
Graybeard circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Arteezy tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Graybeard wins by KO!

A relieved looking Dome Graybeard thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
