The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sousa gets a double leg takedown into Realidade 's guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Eduardo Realidade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Realidade fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sousa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Sousa closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Sousa lands in his opponent's guard.

Realidade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sousa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Eduardo Realidade showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
